My uncles's kimono

I took about 50 photos of a kimono my uncle got in 1984, I'll be posting more of them here right now it is mostly photos of the back.
He got it at an auction and paid around 700 for it, It is a white satin with heavy metallic machine embroidery and gold lame. The lining is a bright orange red, with a gold mum pattern. The hem is stuffed and padded and there is no wear upon it.
It is supposed to have been part of a kabuki theater costume, but if so I doubt it was ever worn. The wrinkles upon it that are not from storage indicated it might have been hung up on a wall, and that is where most of the slight wear and discoloration are at upon the shoulders and sleeves.
*sigh* so pretty
