centuriessewing: (lush gown)

Costume indecision!

So I have some velvet I have over dyed a number of times and the pile is rather crushed and even ironing on fluffy towels is not helping it very much.
Which leaves me with this problem, I have a project that will work wonderfully for it..but the question is do I make that, or make the other gown instead.

The kick ass cool fairy queen by Alan Lee that I did a fast color job on and the texture of the velvet would lend itself too
It would be more work, with block printing and stamping and so forth.. but Mmmmm

I have option one in the works myself. ;)

I suppose that means I vote for number two.

Though either would be really cool. ;)

hmm my two cents. I love both but the Alan Lee one would be kick ass like you said!

I vote #2 - since the pile is kinda wonky, it looks like it would really work for that. :)

A roach wearing a ruff LOL! I vote for #2 since pile won't be an issue. Plus I just really like that dress.

If you can get a roach in real life to wear a ruff, I vote two....On second thought I vote two anyways.
