Costume indecision!

So I have some velvet I have over dyed a number of times and the pile is rather crushed and even ironing on fluffy towels is not helping it very much.
Which leaves me with this problem, I have a project that will work wonderfully for it..but the question is do I make that, or make the other gown instead.

The kick ass cool fairy queen by Alan Lee that I did a fast color job on and the texture of the velvet would lend itself too
It would be more work, with block printing and stamping and so forth.. but Mmmmm
